Licensed Clinical Social Workers
The Behavioral Medicine function of 3PT is led by Licensed Clinical Social Workers. We focus on a patient’s emotional and psychological well-being. In doing this, we consider the societal and environmental factors that impact the overall health and behaviors of the patient.
This process begins with an assessment. We evaluate strengths, challenges and develop a strategy for long term change. Most importantly, we gauge the patient’s readiness to adopt our plan of care and determine the patient’s likelihood of long term success. Although all of our treatment plans are unique to each patient, there are a series of steps that yield tangible short and long term results in our patient’s lives.

Registered Dietitian Nutritionists
Registered dietitian nutritionists are experts in food and nutrition. They meet the academic and professional requirements to qualify for the credential “RDN.”
At 3PT, our expert nutrition staff know that every patient comes to us with different preferences and challenges. When it comes to nutrition, a successful, one size fits all approach simply does not exist. If it did, you wouldn’t be reading this right now.
Each individual patient has personal preferences that our RDN considers, including; ability to cook, access to nutritious food, and their individual tastes. However, to be successful the individual’s metabolism must also be assessed.
Like the other disciplines, our nutrition counseling process begins with an evaluation. The 3PT approach goes beyond a food recall and a questionnaire. We conduct a comprehensive metabolic analysis that is the foundation each patient’s food plan. This is the key to creating a plan tha our patients enjoy and that is sustainable.
